Kinesiology is an energy model that uses your muscles biofeedback to reveal where your stress or blocks are being stored in your body. Kinesiology removes the blocking energy allowing you to become balanced and centered. Once centered you can then begin to make the nurturing changes you are looking for your optimal health and wellbeing. This is what Kinesiology addresses and what we would be working on during a session.

In your first session, we will go through a detailed case history of the patterns in your life possibly including: Previous health or illness history. Emotional and psychological history. Traumas. Surgeries and genetic patterns. Work. Family and Relationships. Financial pressures. Spiritual practices. Relaxation time. Exercise and nutritional goals. This process gives a roadmap of where you are in life and where you would rather be. Each session balances your energetic system towards an agreed and defined goal. The goal is muscle tested on your body for feedback, doing all required corrections to ensure all parts of your energetic system are working towards achieving your goal. There will often be home support for you to do between sessions to support the continuation of your goal, aims and dreams.

In your first session we will go through a detailed history of your child including your own family patterns. This process gives a roadmap of where your child is at in their life and where they would rather be. This becomes our goal. I ask that you stay in the room during the session. This can be negotiated after the age of 12 and/or after a few sessions. So now is a good time to share how I work. After we have had a chat about your child's history and what it is that you are looking for through kinesiology, our sessions are then led by my client - which is your child. I apply my skills within the boundaries that I am given by them. I prefer (if possible) for your child to answer my questions with no or minimal adult prompts. I am quite comfortable to wait for their answers - no rush. This allows your child to own the clinic space as their own and to understand we are here for them. I aim for 30 mins minimum and attempt an hour but again it depends on the space and place and age of your child on that particular day. My aim is to create a calm, safe and supportive space for your child where they release the stress from their system and learn about their emotions, how that feels in their body and how to communicate this to others so they are understood.

I recommend a basic commitment of 3 sessions (which includes the inital consultation). The first consultation is 90 minutes as we discuss your history in depth - 30 minutes discussion and 60 mins Kinesiology. The follow up sessions are approximately 1 hour, with a short chat, a review of life between last seeing each other, and then focusing on the kinesiology to continue creating the changes. How long you choose to access kinesiology varies from individual to individual and what is being brought to the clinic space, It is something we discuss and muscle test for during your session. I find we can work intensely for a short period of time with occasional tune ups when life challenges arise.

Surrogate means acting in place of another. The best example of this is when I work with children. For one reason or another a child may not want to participate in a session until they have 'checked everything out'. In these cases I/we have 2 choices. I can either use the parent to surrogate for the child or use a strand of the child's hair and surrogate the energy myself. n these cases I discover which Kinesiology technique is needed via the parent/hair and then carry out the correction on the child if possible. Surrogate balances are used in a wide variety of situations including online sessions and long distance sessions. I have to have permission from the receiver of the balance before I can use a surrogate. For example if we are balancing a person in hospital I need their permission to use a proxy before starting a session.
